About Us
At Campbell Events we don’t just plan unique weddings, we craft experiences that feel like you from the inside out. We believe that your wedding should reflect who you are.
What makes us different starts with how we show up for our couples.
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but our goal is to bring a sense of calm and confidence to the process. Our team is known for being organized, detail-obsessed, and genuinely fun to work with. We’re not just timeline creators, we are your trusted advocates. After ten years we know the questions to ask, the vendors to call, and the moments that matter most.
Our Background
With over a decade of experience in the hospitality and event industry, our founder Carissa Campbell brings a unique blend of logistical skills and creative vision to each event. Having worked in both catering and venue management before launching Campbell Events, Carissa knows what’s happening behind the scenes, and that insider perspective means nothing gets missed.
Our Method
We offer everything from full service planning to partial planning and wedding coordination, because we know every couple’s needs are different. But no matter how involved we are, we always approach your wedding with the same level of care and intention. We take the time to understand what matters most to you whether it’s your vibe, your values, your vision and then we bring it to life in a way that feels effortless, polished, and unmistakably yours.
Our design philosophy is all about layering: we use classic elements paired with bold choices, curated details balanced with special moments. We want your guests to walk into your wedding and say, “This is so them.” Whether that means an epic dance party, a handwritten vow moment, or a candlelit tablescape, we’re here to help you do it your way.
And while we love beautiful weddings, we care just as much about your experience along the way. From our first meeting to your final sendoff, we’re committed to being responsive, supportive, and present. Our couples often tell us they felt seen, heard, and taken care of, because that’s the heart of what we do. We don’t believe in cookie cutter packages, we believe in real relationships.
At Campbell Events, we’re more than planners… we’re partners in celebration. We’re here to make the process feel exciting, not exhausting. Most of all, we’re here to make sure your wedding feels like the best version of your love story.
Let’s DO THE DAMN THING.
Our History
Campbell Events began as a one-woman dream, a passion for driving Uhauls around the City, and a Spreadsheet full of ideas. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America and spending years directing catering around New York and Vermont, Carissa Campbell realized her favorite part of every event wasn’t the set up or the event the food, it was the people. The stories, the connection, the quiet joy in the chaos. In 2015, she founded Campbell Events to bring a more personal, intentional approach to wedding planning, pairing high design with heart, and organization with ease.
Our Journey
From those early days designing intimate loft weddings in Brooklyn to producing full-scale celebrations in sprawling Hudson Valley estates, Campbell Events grew into a boutique planning studio known for its calm precision, inclusive values, and creative eye. What started as a local word-of-mouth business soon earned recognition across the wedding world, with features in Brides, Carats & Cake, Love Inc, Ruffled, Anti Bride, Eater, and even The New York Times, each spotlighting our commitment to creating celebrations that are both artful and deeply authentic.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of planning at some of the city’s most iconic venues including some of our favorites such as The Foundry, The Bordone, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and The Central Park Boathouse, spanning to Greenpoint Loft and The River Cafe, and destination settings upstate like Cedar Lakes Estate and Gather Greene. Whether transforming a raw industrial space or a garden rooftop, our team has built a reputation for making every detail feel thoughtful, cohesive, and perfectly timed (with just the right amount of Champgne in hand).
