A Craft Beer Love Story in the Poconos: Patrick & Rose at Stroudsmoor Country Inn
Patrick and Rose’s wedding made every moment feel like an extension of who they are. Their entire wedding was built based on meaning, personality, and all of their artistic hobbies and passions. From the very beginning, they couldn’t stop talking about creating a full weekend experience in the Poconos that highlighted them. With three days to unfold their story, Campbell Events approached the celebration not as a single event. Instead, they treated it as an entire weekend Poconos Party so that their guests could step into from the moment they arrived. 
The Welcome Dinner | Creating a Home Away from Home
The weekend began with a welcome gathering in the Heart of Stroudsmoor. guests were greeted with craft beers (naturally), many pool tables, and friends from all over, turning it into a reunion celebration! Throughout the weekend we included a plethora of other personal details. Rose, a talented baker, brought her creativity into the celebration with homemade cupcakes. These cupcakes were made by her bakery mates. Patrick’s aunt designed all of the stationery, adding a familial touch that carried through in every detail. And in one of the most memorable surprises of the weekend, best man Seamus Lynch created a custom animated reel of their relationship that played during the reception entrance, surprising the guests! This was the first of many suprises. Others included a “pin the beard” on the Patrick moment along with their Lawn Games and personalized temporary tattoos for all of the guests.

But the heart of the day belonged to Patrick and Rose themselves. As musicians, they chose to write and sing their vows to one another. Throughout the evening Patrick and Rose’s joy was evident in all that they did. We would look at Patrick and Rose and notice how giddy she was throughout the night. With The Bandulos leading the charge, the dance floor transformed into something electric. There was crowdsurfing and breakdancing. As a result, there was a kind of uninhibited joy that can’t be replicated. Patrick and Rose earned every second of it by creating a space where their guests felt completely free to celebrate alongside them.

When Planning a Destination Wedding, It’s a delicate balance between honoring a couple’s individuality while still delivering a cohesive, relaxed experience for their guests. This weekend did both. Captured beautifully by Wasin Pummarin, the entire celebration feels as vibrant and dynamic in photos as it did in real life a true reflection of a couple who didn’t just plan a wedding, but created an experience. Patrick and Rose’s wedding celebrated community, craft beer, music, and so so much love.
