The 5 Best Wedding Venues in Queens

The Sunken Lounge TWA Hotel

Our 5 Favorite Queens Wedding Venues

Queens has quickly become one of New York City’s most exciting places to get married. While Manhattan and Brooklyn often steal the spotlight, Queens offers something truly special: incredible architecture, waterfront views, industrial spaces, historic landmarks, and hidden gems that feel uniquely New York.

As a Queens-based wedding planning team, we’ve spent years celebrating love throughout the borough, and these five venues continue to top our recommendation list. Each offers something completely different, making it easy for couples to find a space that reflects their personalities rather than just following the trends.

Whether you’re dreaming of an industrial loft, a romantic courtyard, a rooftop celebration, or even a vintage airport terminal, here are five Queens wedding venues we absolutely love.

1. Sound River Studios

Best For our Creative or Minimalist Couples

*Average Budget: 90k - 130k
Queens Venue Sound River Studios Sound River Studios Blank Space

If you believe your wedding design should be the star of the show, Sound River Studios is one of the best blank canvases in New York City.

The bright white interior creates a clean backdrop that can transform into virtually any aesthetic. We love to paint those blank walls with colorful florals, draping, light installations, and fun dance floors. Because this is a completely white space, every floral installation, table design, and lighting element has room to shine.

Sound River Studios is set apart by its waterfront location. Couples can exchange vows directly on the pier overlooking the East River before transitioning inside for dinner and dancing. The private boat dock also creates opportunities for unforgettable entrances. Imagine all of your guests traveling to your wedding via boat?! This is a completely Raw space venue, meaning we bring in the staff, the catering, the florals, the tables, the chairs.

  • Private boat dock for a unique transportation option
  • Endless possibilities for custom installations

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that you can literally build and customize, this venue gives you the freedom to create it. Give Campbell Events a call and we can start design a wedding that is Uniquely You.

2. The Foundry

Best for Couples that Love Historic Architecture and Garden Weddings

*Average Budget 130k – 160k

The Foundry has been one of New York City’s most iconic wedding venues for years.

Every room tells a different story. Historic brick walls, ivy-covered architecture, soaring ceilings, intimate indoor spaces, and one of the most beautiful courtyards in the city combine to create a venue that feels both elegant and hip all at once.

One of our favorite features is the secret garden atmosphere. Walking into the courtyard feels like stumbling upon a hidden oasis tucked inside Long Island City. It offers couples an incredibly romantic setting without ever leaving New York. Inside, every space has its own personality, allowing weddings to flow from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception without guests ever feeling like they’re in the same room all night.

Pro Tip: Choosing a vendor team that knows what they are doing in this space is Key. Because of the multiple spaces and room flips that need to happen, choose a vendor Team that has worked here in the past is going to make your life easier and also give you tips for how to maximize the space to the fullest.

Why we love this space:

  • Gorgeous hidden courtyard
  • Historic industrial architecture
  • Multiple unique event spaces
  • Incredible character in every room
  • Perfect balance of garden vibes and old school New York charm

For this venue, you must pick off of their preferred vendor list which includes some of our favorites such as Creative Foods Catering and Marcey Brownstein Catering.

3. The Bordone

Best for Modern Designs and Parties with a View

Average Budget 120k – 150k

Wedding Ceremony under Chuppah at the Bordone in Queens

Few venues offer views quite like The Bordone.

Located in Long Island City, this modern event space overlooks the Manhattan skyline with floor-to-ceiling windows and an incredible outdoor balcony that instantly becomes a guest favorite. Beyond the views, we love how flexible the venue is. Whether you’re hosting a mini wedding on the fifth floor or a large wedding with a multi floor buy out, the layout adapts beautifully to different guest counts and design styles.

It’s also one of our favorite venues for ambitious event design. The soaring ceilings and built in rigs make it possible to install dramatic hanging floral installations, suspended lighting, or statement décor that transforms the room. The open layout also leaves plenty of space for a large dance floor, which is something we always appreciate because the dance floor is where the magic happens.

4. Greats of Craft

Best for Budget-Friendly Weddings with Personality

Average Budget: 70k – 110k

At Greats of Craft, you don’t need a massive budget to host an unforgettable wedding. This hidden gem in Long Island City, combines several unique spaces into one celebration, giving couples an experience that feels  completely different from a traditional ballroom.

One of our favorite features is the hidden speakeasy, which creates an amazing atmosphere for getting ready or late-night drinks. Upstairs, the rooftop offers beautiful skyline views, and because it’s covered during the winter months, it remains usable year-round. Guests also love the beer cart – a fun interactive feature that instantly gets conversations flowing and adds personality to cocktail hour.

For couples looking for a non traditional venue Greats of Craft consistently delivers.

Why we love it:

  • Hidden speakeasy vibes
  • Covered rooftop for year-round celebrations
  • Fun beer cart experience
  • Excellent value for New York City weddings
  • Relaxed atmosphere with lots of personality

It’s proof that intimate weddings can still feel incredibly memorable.

5. TWA Hotel

Ceremony at the TWA Hotel

Best for: Vintage Lovers & Destination Wedding Energy

Average Budget 90k – 160k

There literally isn’t another wedding venue in New York quite like the TWA Hotel. Stepping inside feels like traveling back to the glamour of 1950s travel. Every detail, from the architecture to the furnishings, celebrates mid-century modern design, making it a dream venue for couples who love vintage aesthetics. The ceremony spaces are unlike anything else in the city, offering dramatic architectural backdrops that require very little additional décor.

But our absolute favorite feature? The after-party aboard the hotel’s restored vintage airplane, The Connie! It’s one of those experiences guests will talk about for years after your wedding. Dancing inside a real aircraft is about as uniquely You as it can get.

The Sunken Lounge TWA Hotel

Why we love it:

  • Stunning 1950s-inspired architecture
  • Incredible ceremony spaces
  • Perfect for vintage-inspired weddings
  • Iconic private airplane after-party
